National Medical Screening Program
Wednesday, November 11, 2015
The Building Trades National Medical Screening Program (BTMed) provides
free medical screening services to construction workers who worked at
DOE/AEC sites.
Over the years, many workers in the trades, including Boilermakers, have worked at a Department of Energy site where they may have been exposed to hazardous materials. It is vital that those who worked at such sites be informed of the Building Trades National Medical Screening Program (BTMed), which provides FREE medical screening. BTMed is run by CPWR, the Center for Construction Research and Training, and is supported by the Building and Construction Trades Department, AFL-CIO.
Members can call 1-800-866-9663 to find out if they are eligible for the free screening. For more information, please visit
